I gained early experience in corporate design projects, supporting teams with brand campaign concepts and execution while learning under the mentorship of experienced creatives.
Promise Group (SA)
2016 - 2018
I developed strong digital design skills by creating social media campaign assets,
short-form videos, and brand campaign concepts, while gaining hands-on experience in rolling out multi-channel creative assets. I benefited from invaluable mentorship and leadership that shaped my creative foundation.
Mccann Worldgroup (SA)
2018 - 2018
I expanded my digital design expertise by crafting designs for local and global brand campaigns across digital platforms. From here I started developing a growing interest in UI, Web Design, which inspired the next step in my career journey.
Nedbank (SA)
2019 - 2020
At Nedbank, I worked as a UI Designer within cross-functional teams in corporate, agile environments. I created iterative designs for multiple products—primarily within Nedbank’s app—while gaining hands-on experience in UX, product design, and user-centered research. My role focused on improving products based on user needs and leveraging design systems to ensure consistency and scalability.
Ogilvy (SA)
2020 - 2021
At Ogilvy, I was part of the Experience Lab team, where I expanded my UI/UX expertise within a fast-paced, creative agency environment. I collaborated with fellow designers on projects for both local and global brands, balancing creative freedom with strategic problem-solving. My time there exposed me to emerging technologies such as AI and VR, broadening my perspective on how innovation can shape user experiences. I designed and launched two major websites — Ogilvy Social Lab and the redesigned Cadbury SA site with the team at Ogilvy.
Herdl Ltd. (UK)
2021 - 2025
At Herdl, I served as Lead Web Designer, driving design initiatives and establishing scalable design systems, templates, and documentation to streamline creative workflows. I designed and delivered a wide range of assets — from websites and brand identities to social media and video content — while collaborating closely with project managers and the agency’s founders. A key highlight was leading the redesign of Design 4 Retail’s website alongside the Herdl team, creating a modern, user-focused digital experience that strengthened the brand’s online presence.
